If you live in state, and get a 1400 on theNov 07 2012Mechanical Engineering
If you live in state, and get a 1400 on the SATs I'm pretty sure you'll get in. Out of state, if you're from long island, you'll probably get accepted no matter what. Not a tough school to get into at all and now I understand why.

I did the common app and took the SAT. I'm pretty sure they have a high acceptance rate. If you're at least a decent student, you will get in. If you're a Delaware resident, you will get in if you're not a terrible student.

Not terrible hard to get in, but also not easy. If you tried in high school and got a decent score on the SAT's, you'll be ok.

I was in the top 7% of my high school classApr 10 2012Psychology
I was in the top 7% of my high school class. I was on two varsity sports teams. got 1970 on SATs. 3.8 unweighted GPA on a 4.3 scale. 5.1 weighted GPA on a 5.3 scale. Took all IB and AP classes my junior and senior years. Freshman and sophomore years I was in the highest level classes offered to students at my high school. (My high school is one of the top secondary schools in NJ) Involved in numerous extracurricular activities with several leadership positions. Also volunteered in my hometown. For those of you who know what International Baccalaureate (IB) is I was a diploma candidate (eventually received my IB diploma). For those of you who don't know what that is, its basically AP on steroids.
I recommend students take as many AP/IB classes as possible. You will get more credit for AP scores rather than IB. Also, get involved in extracurriculars that mean something to you. Sports won't hurt either. In short, be well-rounded.

I had an average GPA and highFeb 20 2012Biology
I had an average GPA and high SAT scores. I signed up for an interview through the UD's admission office which I believe helped put a face to a name. I made sure I had strong extra curricular activities, including a sport, instrument, job experience, and some volunteer hours. I also made my essay very powerful and interesting.
